Here is the official description for Evo Server Alive Monitoring: EditBy Evo Server Alive Monitoring System (Evo SAM) was developed with the purpose of assisting IT administrator to identify in seconds if any of the servers is down. Normally, user is the one that first complaint to administrator that a server is down. With Evo SAM, administrator will be notified of the problem as soon as the server is down (it can be in seconds if configure so). Administrator can select to be notified by email or sms message. Evo SAM is built on client and server technology whereby a pool of servers can be configured to run Evo SAM Client and periodically report to Evo SAM Server. A complete installation should include two Evo SAM Servers to ensure a complete cover of all servers available including the Evo SAM Server itself.
