EmailJournal Description

EmailJournal solves one of the most important problems facing companies using e-mail for their daily communications. When using EmailJournal the people at your company will continue to use e-mail as before. Using Outlook, Entourage, Mail.app, Eudora or what they prefer. But at the same time the company will for the first time get a full view of all the correspondence - to and from everyone in one system! Email Journal will collect all e-mail, incomming and outgoing including attachments and html-mail. EmailJournal will automatically index all mail, making it ready to be searched by recipient, sender, companies/domains, header and body. And the searches can of course be limited to specific date-intervals. The first versions of EmailJournal will be in Danish only, and therefore only usable in the Scandinavian countries. EmailJournal is based on FileMaker and can integrate directly with other FileMaker Systems. But it is indeed possible to integrate with other systems as well. EmailJournal is utilizing FileMakers splendid XML support and is delivering two different XML exports and a tab-separated text file to choose from. EmailJournal does not only gather and index all the e-mails but will take down and save attatched files as well, ready to use. EmailJournal is delivered ready to use including manual (at the moment only in Danish). Email Journal is suited for use in small and middle size companies. What's new in this version: Better search functions. Problem when not using the full access password solved.
