ES-Insight Description

ES-Insight is a software that will finally make the Exchange/IIS SMTP server logs useful to e-mail administrators. Instead of jumbled log entries intermixing simultaneous SMTP command threads, ES Insight presents a list of messages organized into separate inbound and outbound directions. Select an individual message to view the original log entries with selectable columns that can hide blank or useless information. ES-Insight includes a search facility using various message criteria such as message sender, recipient, subject, and size. This can be used to locate and diagnose email delivery problems. The same criteria can also be used to display a filtered view of all messages. Two useful reports are provided - IP frequency and country-of-origin. These can show if an attack condition exists from spammers in foreign locations. Use the free evaluation copy of ES-Insight to easily get some useful information from the Exchange/IIS SMTP server logs.
