Duplicate Code Description

Duplicate code is generally considered undesirable. Duplicate Code is a tool to look through files and find identical sequence of source code that occurs more than once, either within a program or across different programs. It is aimed to detect statements in source code (e.g. C#, Visual Basic, or C++), but also it could work for other kinds of plain text files. The count of lines can be configured and comments can be ignored. Currently, Duplicate Code reads Visual Studio Solutions and Projects. Also it can read any files under a specified folder which make it valid for any programing language. Duplicate Code can be used for the following major tasks: 1.
