Doctor Aquarium Description

Doctor Aquarium is a groundbraking aquarium automated assistant that will monitor the health of your aquarium and will take actions so it will not get sick. It works with standard X10 home automation modules, and can measure pH, Temperature, Light Levels, Sound Levels, Voltage, Resistance, and other parameters using a DAQ board. The program features email alerts, and a web interface that lets you monitor you aquarium over the Internet. Unlike conventional hardware based aquarium controllers, Dr Aquarium built in scripting language let's you define any control logic. The built in task wizard will help you teach the doctor how to perform tasks with out programming. Doctor Aquarium is designed from start to be open and modular, so that anyone can create and share Plugins and scripts. Using X10 technology the program can turn on lights, pumps, heaters, power heads, and can be used to simulate lunar and solar cycles, and natural water motion. An example plugin is provided with full source allowing custom DIY plugin development to interface to new hardware devices or to add new features. Doctor aquarium supports multiple aquariums, and can be used as a controller for marine salt water reef aquariums, fresh water aquariums, terrariums, vivaria, vivariums, nano, and other types of fish tanks, and pet enclosures, and can be used for water quality analysis for hydroponics and aquaculture. Turn on a fans if tank temperature is too high Simulate solar cycle by turning on lights in succession at sunrise, and turning them off at sunset.
