Diff3-OV Description

The Diff3-OV application was designed to give an overview in a graphical-directory-view where changes have to be expected, when performing a 3-way-diff/merge. There exist a lot of very good tools for actually performing a 3-way-diff/merge, but up to now I haven't found a tool, that provides an overview where merge-work has to be expected. You have to provide the common predecessor of both SW-Deliveries! This is relevant e.g. in an environment where you have to merge more than 1000 files and you want to plan the needed specialists for the different changed areas in the SW in advance. The tool will present the directory-tree of the SW in a graphical way (with dot) with different colors for areas where changes happend.
