Desknotes is nothing more than a simple note taking application that can prove useful in situations when you want to write down important information you stumbled upon during research sessions. Another of its uses is to create to-do lists or visual reminders for the computer user.Create multiple sticky notes on your desktopThere is no lack of such applications out there and Desknotes is just as good as any. It can create an unlimited number of sticky notes on the desktop, enabling you to move them around to whatever position you want. In order to write text on a note, you simply have to double-click on it and start typing. Of course, pasting is also possible. There is no limit to the number of characters, but the notes do not have a scroll bar and are not resizable, so you will have to use the keyboard arrows to read a larger text. Right-clicking on a note reveals a menu that enables you to hide it. You can easily make it visible again by double-clicking on the system tray icon. Also, notes can be saved as plain text files and opened at a later time. Customize the look of all notesThere are a few customization options that you can use to alter the appearance of each note. Desknotes enables you to modify the color of the background and the note to make them match your desktop theme. Furthermore, the text font can be changed according to your preferences, but there are no options to change the text color. Since the text can only be black, a darker note color might make it difficult to read.
