The list of audio formats supported is not huge, but it certainly covers all the best known codecs, such as MP3, WMA, M4A, Ogg, AIFF, or WAV. Each of these comes with a series of presets that cover various levels of quality, though you can always design your own collection of presets for each codec. The whole conversion process varies very little (if anything) from that of its competitors, and certainly requires no specific help or knowledge on your part. The program’s interface offers everything you need for a quick and straightforward conversion – all output formats available have been grouped on top of the screen and appear as a series of oversized icons that makes choosing the right one simple and easy. Thus, unless you want to apply some changes to customize any of the provided presets, everything you need to convert your audio files can be found in the program’s main interface. Its batch conversion capabilities allows you to select any number of files and/or folders - regardless of the input format of the original files – and convert them (using the codec and the quality preset selected) into your preferred audio format in one single operation. This is extremely helpful when you need to harmonize your music collection to fit a specific device. Finally, it is worth noting that DeGo Audio Converter is also an audio downloader. This feature lets you grab – on a one-file-at-a-time basis – any audio file that can be accessed through a valid URL. Not a very common feature, and certainly worth trying.
