Here is the official description for DataGuarder: DevOXide and Kongen releases a small application to guard those sensitive Folders from pesky snooping ppl like domain admins, administrators, auditors and their evil peers. This little application will stop them evil perpetrators to gain access to your "sensitive" data folders where you might have private and in other terms unappropriate files not entirely in line with corporate rules and regulations. DataGuarder is a small application which will reset access permissions on all defined folders to allow only the users defined in the application to have access to them. It will then monitor the folders for any changes to the security settings on the folders and when a change occurs it will reset the access ACL's to the settings defined and thus block any attempts at changing them to gain access. If a folder is set to allow only a set of defined user accounts access, the only way of gaining access to these folders by anyone else is to take ownership of them and then change the access rights in such a way as to allow themself access.
