For those who need to make quick tools using C++, experiment with ideas. It is not intended to work with large scale projects (although it can), it is not to "increase productivity", "laverage revenues". The main ideas behind this IDE are: * use your soul while working * do more with less tools * less interface - more code * more invisible power * concentrated around "teach yourself c++ in 21 days" * not only what it is, but what it is _not_ Of course, this is the first beta-release of this IDE, and it does not meet all possible goals. This is the first release of DaoIDE, it is beta-quality, as most features are there but need polishing. This very first release is more intended for enthusiasts rather than regular users. The final release of this IDE will come later to be ready for the wider audience. Dao IDE is currently Windows-only. Dao IDE currently is working with MinGW and Cygwin compilers, and GDB debugger. Dao IDE is supposed to be used for "include library" projects, rather than old-fashioned header/code/object file ways. Although you can compile and link separate files together, Dao IDE is better for including all required sources and compiling all together at once.
