Daniusoft DVD to iPod Suite is a software pack that consists of two separate tools designed for video processing - DVD to iPod Converter and Video to iPod Converter. It can prepare items for iPod, convert videos to MOV, M4V and MP4, as well as extract the audio stream and save it to MP3, M4A and WAV. The tools are wrapped in a clean and intuitive interface. Importing items can be done via the file browser, folder view or "drag and drop" function. It is possible to work with multiple items at the same time. The file queue displays the initial and output name and extension, original and default trimmed length, along with estimated size of each entry. Once the output directory and file type are established, you can proceed with the conversion procedure with the default settings. Otherwise, you can configure audio and video properties in regard to the resolution, encoder, frame rate, bit rate, sample rate, channel mode and bit rate. Settings can be saved to a new profile or restored to default. In addition, you can preview clips in a built-in player and capture frames, merge and crop videos, as well as trim them by chapters or by marking the start and end position or time values. Also, you can select the audio track and subtitle language. Plus, you can apply effects (e.g. brightness, grayscale), add watermarks (text or image) and load subtitles. In the "Options" area you can change the interface language, along with snapshot format and directory. During the encoding operation, you can set the tool to turn off the computer automatically or to open the output directory when all tasks are done. The video processing program needs a moderate amount of system resources to finish a task quickly. It includes a help file and delivers videos with a fair image and sound quality.
