DH_WaveShaperToCV Description

The DH_WaveShaperToCV module will transform the SE WaveShaper module into a general data input device. Evaluates the function you draw on the WaveShaper's display at 11 equally-spaced input values, and sends each result to a separate output. Inputs: From WS Out - Connect this to the WaveShaper's Signal Out Multiplier - Provides an easy way to scale all outputs. Default = 1. Offset - An amount to be added or subtracted from all outputs. For example, the output range of the WaveShaper is -5 to +5. An offset of 5 would shift the output range to 0 to 10. Default = 0. Outputs: To WS In via Feedback Delay - because feedback in SynthEdit must occur in blocks rather than individual samples, the DH_WaveShaperToCV module must be used with a Feedback (delayed) module. Connect this output to the Audio In of the Feedback Delay, and connect the Feedback Delay's Audio Out to the WaveShaper's Signal In. Notes: The 11 outputs correspond roughly to the 11 moveable boxes on the WaveShaper display. They do not track the horizontal movement of the boxes, however. The output values are the height of the drawn line where it would intersect with vertical lines at each input value (-5, -4, etc.).
