DDAP TIFF/IT Checker Description

In 1994, on our members' behalf, the DDAP Association developed software to help developers create applications for the reading, writing and viewing of TIFF/IT-P1 files. This application ran both on the Mac and Windows platform and was followed by a series of other software from 1996 through 1999 that allowed users, with varying degrees of functionalit, to verify and rename TIFF/IT-P1 files. These applications were TIFF/IT-P1 PreFlight, TIFF/IT-P1 TagScan and TIFF/IT-P1Rename. In 1999, the DDAP Association embarked on an initiative to revamp our verification software, bundling it into a single package with an updated user interface and functionality based on fives years of field experience provided to us by members and non-members alike.
