DAudioK Description

DaudioK is an audio converter that works with several popular formats and provides a great amount of features to customize the output file. You may not know where to start at the first glance, but it's only because DaudioK offers a large collection of tools. Unfortunately, there is no help file included in the app, so you can't receive assistance if you get yourself into trouble. Converting a file from one format to another is actually a few-step process. You first need to select the file to convert and pick the output format and the output location, which can be either a different folder on the local disk or the same folder as the original file. Depending on the output format you pick, DAudioK lets you configure several parameters. For MP3 for instance, you're allowed to select sampling frequency, channel, bitrate and output volume. Another good thing about DAudioK is the fact that it allows you to cut a specific part of an audio file and save it separately. Plus, it provides an advanced tag editor, with specific fields to write down information such as title, artist, album, notes, genre, year and track. As said, DAudioK supports some of the most popular audio formats on the market, including AAC, AC3, AMR, MP2/MPA, MP3, WAV and WMA. The conversion process goes very fast and doesn't seem to affect the overall system performance. On Windows 7 however, the program closes every once in a while all of a sudden, without any error message displayed to the user. Overall, DAudioK is only one of the many audio conversion apps out there, serving its purpose in a quick manner, without slowing down the system or hampering computer performance.
