Crash Pickup Description

Crash Pickup allows catching a crashing program at the moment of the crash, generating information related to the crash and sending that information with the permission of the user to the web-based storage. During the installation, Crash Pickup requires user to provide a Service Key. The Service Key is used for communication with the web-based storage. For paid accounts, purchased Service Key should be entered. For public (free) account, "Free Service Key" box should be checked. Free account does not allow viewing/downloading submissions of other users that use the same public (free) Service Key. Only the file pertained to the tracking number could be analyzed. Retention of submitted data is not guaranteed for longer than 1 hour. The software package includes the program FailTest.exe that crashes when started. You can use this application to test Crash Pickup's functionality. Once installed, Crash Pickup automatically detects a crashing program, it prompts with dialog requesting permission to send information to the web-based storage. User Email and comment regarding this crash are optional. They can be viewed on the BugDump website only by the owner of the Service Key.
