Cool Lotto Description

CoolLotto is a simple but effective gaming tool. It allows to analyze intended lotto numbers, and see how likely they are to be drawn. Cool Lotto will use two statistical coefficients especially developed for this purpose, called: the Spread and the Punch. The coefficients inform the player about the hidden regularities within the selected numbers. Both Punch and Spread increase in value if the selected numbers are more likely to be the winners. CoolLotto is an implementation of statistical analysis of random number distributions as relevant to the Lotto games. The program evaluates the numbers selected by the player to determine their relative randomness. In this way the program attempts to inform the player about the level of correlation among the numbers chosen. If the numbers selected represent some definite pattern the two coefficients (Punch and Spread) decrease in value. This means that the numbers are not truly random and have smaller probability of being drawn. The Punch and Spread coefficients vary between 0 and 100. The bigger the coefficient’s value the more likely it is that the selected number combination is going to be drawn.Preferences: Select the Game Preferences- Number of Boards: can be set to any number between 4 and 12- Number of Cells: the number of cells per board. Can be between 36 and 49- Number of Marks: the number of marks per board. Can be set to 6,7,8 or 9Prize Divisions: Choose the divisions applicable to your lotto game characteristicsPayments $: Choose the expected amount paid per each division. Use most recent if desiredSystems: Select the Systems you would like to play- Play Exclusions System: If you expect that some numbers will not be drawn then you may explicitly exclude them from the board. The numbers will be shaded in yellow and will not respond to mouse clicking- Play Inclusions System: Maybe you feel like expecting some numbers to be drawn. You may specify them here so that each of them will be marked on the board- Show Punch Estimation: The program provides two statistical coefficients representing some measure of probability that a given number combination will be drawn. The first one called Punch looks at the clustering of the numbers in any region of the board. In most cases one would expect this to be between 80 and 100, certainly above 66.- Show Spread Estimation: The second coefficient looks at the relative positions of the numbers and estimates their standard deviation. If your numbers form a distinctive pattern this number is very small. Again for the real life cases this coefficient should be between 80 and 100, and certainly above 66.
