Compact MP3 Player Description

As the name of this software implies, Compact MP3 Player allows you to play audio tracks with the MP3 format. The tool can be easily used by novices. The interface of the application is plain and simple to work with. You can import an MP3 track by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. So, you can use basic audio player functions, such as pause and stop, navigate back and forth within the track and adjust the volume. But you can also fast forward the song, adjust the balance and hide the controls. The audio player takes up a moderate amount of system resources (which is pretty high, considering its limited features), has a good response time and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our testing. There is no help file available but that's because Compact MP3 Player can be easily used by individuals of any experience level. On the other hand, Compact MP3 Player lacks some very important functions. For example, you cannot create a playlist or enable looping mode. Furthermore, you cannot change the program's behavior (e.g. enable Compact MP3 Player to minimize to the system tray or to stay on top of other applications). All in all, Compact MP3 Player is a simplistic software for the simple task of playing MP3 files but it still needs a lot of work.
