Chirp, a Windows Mobile application enables your Windows mobile based devices to call Betamax servers and make very cheap international calls. The application supports some 26 Betamax service providers and chooses the most optimum provider based on the cheapest source and destination tariffs. Application uses device internet connection to send control commands to Betamax servers which connect any two landline or mobile phones. Once called the servers call back and thus there is no outgoing charges. Chirp supports detailed billing information during call; these include projected tariff as in database, actual tariffs, connection fees, connection time, total credits used etc. you can check account balance prior to making a call. The support provided include free calls to landline and mobile call destinations like the United States, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and landline destinations like United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, France, Greece, Japan, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Australia, Brazil etc. An integrated phonebook is supported by the software. The interface is optimized for the limited resolutions of the mobile device and is easy to operate. For example the dialing is through the soft screen number pad presented. A status screen shows you call progress and the accounts screen displays the accounts data. So if you have a Windows mobile device this here provides a good deal for international calls!!
