Cellular Automata Rules Description

Cellular Automata Rules is a simple, very handy, Java based application designed to display a spatial lattice that can have any one of a finite number of states and that are updated synchronously in discrete time steps according to a local (nearby neighbor) rule. The user can change the lattice size, pick different rules (0 to 255 as classified by Stephen Wolfram), and choose different initial starting conditions (toggle a cell on and off by clicking on a lattice site).
