CONVAL Description

CONVAL is an advanced software application that comes with support for twenty-four modules for calculation and optimization of common plants components which are related to control valves and throttle elements, piping system components, heat exchangers, integrated property calculations, pump motor output, and other parameters. It uses calculation methods such as DIN, VDI, VDMA EN/ISO and ISA.User interfaceThe utility sports a clean layout that provides access to a well-organized suite of features. The tool simply lists the available calculations in the main panel and lets you activate the desired one with just one click. There’s support for several view modes, such as list, details or minimal. Depending on the type of information that you want to view displayed in the primary panel, you can activate the details list in order to check out descriptions about each calculation or minimal for hiding all details about calculations and accessing them from a minimalistic layout. Available calculationsCONVAL gives you the possibility to perform a series of calculations which are related to control valve, steam conditioning valve, actuator forces, differential pressure flow element, pressure loss, pressure surge, sizing, pipe compensation, pipe wall thickness, condenser, and material data calculation. Other operations empower you to calculate data in which concerns safety relief valve, tank depressurization, pump motor output, substance calculation, thermodynamic module, and regression. Configuration settingsThe program gives you the possibility to adjust the colors of various editing fields and background, change the looks of the utility by selecting between several design styles, select the schemes that are used as default for new calculations, pick the saving directory, set the page formats, make file associations, and select the templates which are used as default for new calculations.
