CDDir Description

The CDDir application was developed to be a tool for making a database containing the directories of CDs etc. With this tool you can make a listing of the complete directory structure of a CD or harddisk and all of its contents. You can do the same for only some subdirectory and you can combine several of these structures into one set. For all the elements (subdirectories and files) you can add some remarks. It's possible to scan the structure in search for some text string in the directory- and file names and in the remarks. The directory sets you create can be stored. You can use this to build an index for your cd's, describe every item's content and use that for quickly finding the right cd. No more roaming through your stack of cd's (that inevitably tumbles over) to find that picture or document.
