Similar to other popular email programs, such as Microsoft's Outlook, anyone who can send e-mail can send an SMS/text message. Messenger has the ability to import Contacts/Address Books directly from Outlook or other file formats. It also has the ability to export them for other applications. There is support for custom fields of data in Contacts and the ability to personalize each message via the message merge function. All messages can have a signature automatically added. Message templates can be created for recurring use and all messages can be scheduled for delivery at a later date and time.
