The software has been created as general application for security cross platforms running at the same time with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-boards, Capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same form and functionality on the local and remote pcs. Customers view MPEG coded picture and have full control of the program through network that surveillance station can be run with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure drastically improves reliability because all units work as independent software. If one component STOPS working, other units keep on working. For example if the `capture` component freezes, `watchdog` restarts it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture through a `Playback` component. The program performs `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be started by motion, human Face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on apart computer using Web interface. The program makes simultaneous video playback for event examination from many cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
