Brabosphere Description

Brabosphere is a multiplatform program that has two main uses: a 3D molecular visualisation tool and a graphical frontend for the quantum chemical program BRABO. Main features: The use of OpenGL accelerated graphics allow high speed rendering of the molecules using features like shading, highlights and transparancy. Inclusion of the OpenBabel library allows Brabosphere and CrdView to load and save in a multitude of coordinate file formats (See the complete list). Molecules can be built from scratch using absolute or relative cartesian and internal coordinates. Electron densities can be visualised in 2D and 3D. The 2D mode allows a detailed analysis of the resulting density map.
