Black Body Spectrum Description

In this applet the user selects a temperature for a star and the resultant blackbody spectrum for that temperature is shown.Cursor interrogation can be used to show how the wavelength at which the maximum amount of energy is emitted depends on temperature (Wien's Law).The user can also do photometry on the curve by selecting ultraviolet, blue, visual, red, or infrared pass bands.
