Binary Screensaver Description

Binary Screensaver is a simple screensaver that shows scrolling random binary code (1s ad 0s), with rows popping up from the bottom part of the screen. It comes packed with a few configuration settings for enthusiastic users. The installation operation is rapid and does not need special attention from the user. Once it is done, you can access the screensaver settings panel and select the "Binary" option from the drop-down list, as the animation is not automatically applied to the monitor. Whether you're a fan of "The Matrix" movie or just generally love the technological world, Binary Screensaver should suit your preferences, or at least become a part of your screensaver arsenal. By opening the Settings panel you can adjust the scrolling speed by moving a slider, as well as customize the font (default is green text, similar to the one in "The Matrix"). If you do not particularly like binary code, then you can enable the DNA sequencer which enables Binary Screensaver to show Cs, Gs, As, and Ts that scroll in a similar manner. There are no other options provided by this small tool. Evidently, Binary Screensaver does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on a very low quantity of CPU and RAM. It has a good response time and works well, without causing Windows to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. We have not come across any issues in our evaluation. All in all, Binary Screensaver is a fun screensaver to have on your desktop. Unfortunately, it has not been updated for a pretty long time, and it does not include high-quality animation.
