BVB Description

BVB is a command line windows specific virus scanning program written in C++. It has two functions. The main goal of the application is to create a bakup of the hashes of the executable files and the DLL files from a disk. The other function is to check the states of these files on the disk against those that have been backed up. The practical upshot of all this is that if you hash your files at some time, and then check the files at a later time, and the files have been infected with a virus between these two times, the program will detect this and report it to a log file.
