BCL easyConverter Desktop is a very small and simple utility that lets you convert PDF documents to RTF files. The created RTF files are fully compatible with any version of the popular MS Word text editing tool and with many other similar office applications. This tiny tool is extremely simple. It lacks even such basic features as the possibility to select and batch convert multiple files at once. You can only load and convert one PDF file at a time. It also lacks any additional options and settings. It’s basically comprised of a minimalistic window that lets you select a PDF document and choose the output destination of the resulting RTF file. You can also make the application automatically open the resulting file once the conversion is finished. The conversion speed is rather average, neither disappointing nor impressing. One of the not-so-many remarkable advantages of this program is the fact that it can preserve the table formatting of the original documents during the conversion, making the resulting files suitable for accurate additional editing. To sum it all up, BCL easyConverter Desktop is a nice tool, but it’s not free and it doesn’t offer enough benefits to justify its price, especially considering that there are many similar PDF to RTF conversion tools on the market, with additional advantages and better prices, or even free.
