From Aurelon : Aurelon has released a special, dedicated RIP for the Epson Stylus Pro 4000. The Signalize! RIP for Epson 4000 is available for MacOSX and Windows 2000/XP. Included are hotfolder technology, UltraChrome color profiles for all recommended Epson media (e.g. Glossy, Semi-Matt, Luster, Proofing), free Aurelon Layout and Calibrator standard edition software and enables cross-platform, networked printing from any application. Most important functionality includes: - MacOSX/Panther compatible - Included UltraChrome Fingerprints for photo printing - Direct link to online support via a Personal Page - Automatic USB printer recognition and installation - Bitmap, PostScript and PDF support - Job ticket printing / customized job info footnotes - Embedded profile recognition, Spotcolor and ICC color correction - Nesting, Tiling, Step and Repeat - RIP while Print and R.O.O.M. technology - Linearisation and maximum ink level control The Aurelon RIP processes jobs coming from any platform and any application. The additional free stand-alone Aurelon Layout software enables PS/PDF interpretation and pre-production at client side. It includes tools to soft-proof jobs and apply the basic options mirror, rotate, skew and scale. Files can be imported and tiles can be set in order to create Signalize! jobs that are ready for output. Color management by means of assigning color profiles to imported images is also included. Aurelon Signalize! for the Epson Stylus Pro 4000 will be publicly available as of 01-06-2004. Price is set to �750,00, excl. VAT and shipping costs. An additional driver for driving a second printer is available for �250,00.
