Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery is a software application with a pretty self-explanatory name - it lets you retrieve lost or deleted files from your memory card or camera. It can be handled by first-time and experienced users alike. The app is packed in a wizard-like interface where you can restore photos directly from the memory card, create a memory card image file (for damaged or very large cards), or parse an existing memory card file. So, you can select the source drive and size (predefined or custom), as well as specify filters (images, video, audio, others), in order to start the scanning procedure. Once this step is completed, you can view the thumbnails and details of the found files, as well as sort them according to various criteria (e.g. by name or type). Simply pick which item you want to retrieve and let Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery take care of the rest, with just a few quick clicks. The program runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time, and quickly finishes a scan and retrieval job (depending on the size of your memory card or camera). No error dialogs have been displayed during our tests and Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery did not freeze or crash. Although it integrates limited features, Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery can be handled by users of any level of experience, thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity.
