AnyPlayer Description

AnyPlayer is a multimedia player that allows users to open the common formats on the market, including audio, video and image files. As compared to the full-featured similar apps on the market, AnyPlayer is much easier to use, mostly thanks to its multi-panel GUI that needs just a few clicks to load a new multimedia file. The application basically allows you to quickly browse to any location on the local disks and open a file, with support for a wide array of formats. Based on Windows Media Player, AnyPlayer can handle plenty of multimedia formats such as GIF, JPG, ICO, MP3, WMA, SWF, AVI, HTML and many others. The curious thing is that there’s no configuration screen available, so you get just a basic GUI to browse to your multimedia files. The good thing is that AnyPlayer doesn’t affect system performance in any way and although it’s such a simple application, it can handle quite an impressive number of formats. There’s not even a help section, but given the fact that all you need are just a few clicks, most users don’t even need one. All things considered, AnyPlayer is an application that serves its purpose in the simplest possible way. You get nothing more than the essential features and a plain and simple GUI to quickly open a multimedia file. Professional users expecting much more than that are very likely to be disappointed.
