Amazon Drive is a free storage service offered by the famous e-commerce retailer. To have access to this service, you need to create an Amazon account. This gives you a free space of 5 Gb which you can use to store your photos, videos, and other files. If you require more space, the company offers you different pay-based plans to suit your needs. Once you have created your Amazon account, you can download the program that will allow you to upload and download your files to and from the service. The program itself has a simple and easy-to-use interface. First, you need to enter your username and password. The program will detect automatically your photos and video folders and will back them up. You can also upload individual files to one of the preset folders, or create a new folder to upload such files. Also, it is possible to enable the automatic sync feature so your folders will be updated every time you make any changes to their contents. The main drawback I found is that, unlike other storage services like Google Drive and MS OneDrive, in Amazon Drive, you can only download entire folders and not single files. This is a drag, especially when you have a massive photo folder, for example, and you only need to download a single photo. In this case, you will need to download the entire folder, which can take some time. If this works for you, then you may want to give it a try.
