Always Right is a program that scans the Windows Registry for obsolete entries and deletes them. These items are usually left behind after program uninstall. Thus, Always Right helps to optimize the performance of your computer. The interface of the application is clean and pretty intuitive. Always Right looks for invalid interface DLLs, TypeLib entries, uninstall information and file associations, among others. Once the scanning procedure is done, you can check out the location and description of each problematic registry entry. Select which issue you want to take care of (or all of them), and let Always Right handle the rest. In addition, the program can detect and delete junk files found in the system Temp directory and Internet Explorer Temp location (e.g. temporary, temporary backups, Word backups). The results can be sent to the Recycle Bin, permanently deleted, or sent to a backup directory. Always Right also provides features to synchronize your PC clock with some time servers available online, to uninstall software applications, and to manage plug-ins. The program includes user documentation, has a good response time, quickly finishes a scan job and uses a low amount of system resources. Always Right did not cause us any difficulties during our evaluation. On the downside, the app does not offer to automatically create registry backups or system restore points before fixing entries.
