Aimersoft Video Cutter is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to easily split videos of multiple formats, including AVI, ASF, FLV, MOV and MP4. The interface of the program is simplistic and intuitive. Media files can be imported into the list by using either the file browser or the "drag and drop" method. Besides splitting videos, you can also crop and rotate them, as well as make image settings (e.g. brightness, contrast, saturation), enable deinterlacing and apply effects (e.g. gray, emboss). In addition, you can preview clips and switch to full screen mode, zoom in and out, adjust the volume, add transitions (e.g. bar, blind, split), save the current project, use the undo and redo functions, and more. The simple-to-use program runs on a very high amount of system resources, supports several keyboard shortcuts, can guide you to a well-drawn help file with snapshots online and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. Unfortunately, the unregistered version is severely limited. But, other than that, Aimersoft Video Cutter appears to be a reliable software for trimming clips.
