As the name of this software implies, Agogo DVD to 3GP Ripper allows you to convert DVDs to formats supported by mobile phones, including 3GP, 3G2, AVI, MP4, WMV and MP3. The interface of the application is clean and pretty intuitive. You can import a DVD from disc or hard drive by using the treeview only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. So, all you have to do is specify the output destination and file type, in order to proceed with the job. On top of that, you can change audio and video parameters when it comes to the size, quality, frame rate, aspect ratio, channel mode, sample frequency rate and volume. In addition, you can preview the DVD in a built-in media player and trim it by marking the start and end position, as well as enable Agogo DVD to 3GP Ripper to automatically turn off the computer after conversion and to load the DVD disk at program startup. The straightforward video conversion tool requires a low amount of system resources, has a good response time, takes reasonable time to complete a task and delivers a good image and sound quality. Unfortunately, there is no help file available and Agogo DVD to 3GP Ripper crashed several times out of the blue during our testing. We recommend this tool with some reservations.
