Accord CD Ripper Express is a straightforward piece of software that, as the name suggests, lets you rip audio tracks from CDs. It supports the MP3 and WAV formats for the output. The interface of the application is based on a standard window with a well-defined window, where a list of audio tracks is automatically shown at initialization, provided that the CD is already inserted into the tray. The list shows the title, type, start time, duration, status and destination for each item. You can rip all tracks or separate ones, according to your selection, since batch processing is supported. In addition, you can preview songs in a built-in audio player, view log details, choose another drive with an audio CD, and edit CD information. From the Options panel it is possible to pick the FreeDB source (e.g. both remote and local), establish a set of rules for naming files, enable playlist creations and write metadata, as well as configure the encoder settings when it comes to the audio format, sample rate, bits per second, and channel mode. Accord CD Ripper Express is low-demanding when it comes to the CPU and system memory, using minimum resources. It has a good response time, finishes a ripping and conversion job rapidly, and delivers quality audio tracks. No errors have been shown in our tests, and the tool did not hang or crash.
