Abstraction Custom Shapes Description

Abstraction Custom Shapes will provide users with pattern shapes, abstract shapes, shapes for brushes, art nouveau shapes etc. The abstraction artworks are all stored in CSH format and can be loaded into Photoshop or elements by the file > open command. Once the abstraction designs have been loaded into Photoshop you can access them by selecting the custom shape tool (in Photoshop or Elements) or via the Cookie cutter in PS Elements. You can also use the abstraction designs in the shape blur filter to create stunning and unique blurring effects of images and text though the shape blur is not the easiest tool to be sure of the end result but it can be a powerful tool if you want that stunning blur effect that has never ever been seen before. The abstraction set also comes with the designs in a bonus eps file set. The eps files can be used in many other applications such as PSP or Xara (the CSH file cannot be used in those applications). The abstraction eps files are vectors but they are rasterized and used as a layer in PSP etc (would suggest you check out the font sets if you want the designs as vectors in many applications) The abstraction shapes can be used in 1000s of different ways. The abstraction shapes can be re-colored via the toolbox by setting the foreground color and you can also set the color of the abstraction design by selecting the color from the swatch palette (always found that a quicker approach). The abstraction artwork designs can be modified by pen tools as well as the selection tools as well as warped and transformed such as scale and rotated and slanted. The abstraction shapes can have drop shadow / inner glow / bevel / stroke effects / pattern overlay / gradient overlay etc applied to them via layer effects and this can be found in the layers menu. They can also have standard plugin effects applied to them and if you are using the design as a smart object you can also use the smart filters allowing for non-destructive effects on the designs. The abstraction shapes can be used as paths and strokes can be applied or the abstraction design can be turned into a selection and various gradients or patterns can be applied along with effects. If used as a path they can also be exported as a vector design to Illustrator and others. You can apply the abstraction illustrations in RGB color mode as well as CMYK and other color modes. You can also apply the abstractions in different color channels to create stunning color effects. The abstraction motifs are great for creating backgrounds and textures as well as frames and overlays and much more. The abstraction illustrations can be used as fills (third option in the custom shapes buttons). They can be used as a mask / cookie cutter. The abstractions are great for frame designs as well as overlays. You can use the abstraction designs with the Photoshop Extended 3D commands to create stunning 3D effects (in particular the new CS5 Repousse tool) You can then export the designs as OBJ etc and use the abstraction forms (though no longer vectors) in many different 3D applications such as Poser or DAZ 3D or 3D Studio Max. You can export the abstraction artworks to other applications via the export command or the pasteboard such as using the designs in Fireworks or Illustrator or Flash and more. The abstractions can also be exported as a GIF or PNG or JPG (though personally the PNG format is the best for the shape designs) file and then used in other applications. Once the designs are in PNG etc then you can also use other tools to convert the designs to more unique formats. You can also find a shape preset browser on the web if you wish to check through all the shape designs though as mentioned there is a small image file showing all the motifs. The shapes set comes with a thumbnail gallery showing all the designs included in the set (though the designs are fairly small). The set also includes a serial number for any future updates. Documentation is included in the set but the main documentation can be found via the manual link at the top of this page. The abstraction designs also work well with text which can be combined with the illustrations. The abstraction shapes are for commercial work (commercial use OK) as well as personal as part of a logo, use in books, leaflets, web pages, videos, jewels, CDs, illustrations, scrapbooking designs, etc (see the license or contact us if you have any concerns or see the examples list of possible uses or just contact us and ask questions - always happy to receive and reply to e-mails about the designs).
