As the name of this software implies, Abdio PDF Creator allows you to create PDF documents from scratch. It can be used by both novices and experienced individuals. The interface of the application is familiar. You can write text and configure font properties, paste items from the clipboard, as well as use search and replace, undo and redo functions. Moreover, you can insert page breaks, tables, images, OLE objects, hypertext links, symbols and targets, as well as change the page layout (e.g. normal, centered). On top of that, you can configure paragraph properties (e.g. formatting and indents) and attributes settings (e.g. bullets and numbering), add headers, zoom in and out, as well as change the interface skin, password-protect the document and export the PDF to a HTMl, Word or TXT document. The simplistic application runs on a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. On the other hand, we were not able to access the help file (clicking the option didn't do anything).
