AKVIS MultiBrush Description

AKVIS Multibrush is a solution aimed to enhance and retouch photos. It is intended for artists and photographers but it can also be used by home users to edit portraits, restore old photos, add details or even create an image from scratch. At first sight, this application looks like a reduced version of popular tools, such as Adobe Photoshop. In general, its interface is quite similar to those of other well-known general-purpose drawing solutions. It is distinguished by the presence of only a few buttons. In this respect, there is a ribbon containing buttons to create, open and save an image. It also has buttons to print the image and perform undo-redo operations. The main working area is the usual white drawing area with a vertical toolbar on its left. This bar contains two different sets of tools: standard and artistic. However, most users will probably fail to easily find this option because it is not so visually obvious. There are two tool sets: the standard and the artistic ones. The former comprises various types of pens, brushes as well as blur and enlighten tools. The artistic tools include oil brushes, roller, chalk, artistic pencil and artistic spray, among others. To assure the image fits the intended size, this program comes with several types of presets, such as photos, postcards, covers and paper and these can be customized by setting size and orientation. This feature is definitely an advantage over general-purpose drawing apps. In general, AKVIS Multibrush is an easier, less expensive and lighter solution compared with other more sophisticated programs. However, it can surely help you perform different types of editing actions, even some complicated ones. In the end, the quality of the results will depend on your drawing and artistic skills. My recommendation for you is to read the good-quality help documentation available online. Pedro Castro Editor rating:
