ADSL Autoconnect Description

As its name implies, ADSL Autoconnect is intended for allowing the easy management of ADSL connections. While this Internet delivery method is cheaper, it features smaller download speeds with respect to fibre optic broadband, which is the reason why its usage is decreasing (although it still is the most widespread broadband system in some countries). ADSL Autoconnect can be of great use to those who still benefit of Internet access based on copper telephone lines. Providing support for multiple protocols (namely PPTP, PPPOA and PPPOE), it gives them a helping hand in managing the connections easier and monitor transfer rates. Based on distant access services, the application is not compatible with ENTERNET300. Router or FreeBox connections are not detected as well. The configuration process is performed during the installation process. The application might not recognize your connection profile as a high speed Internet access method.
