Video clips can be imported into the file queue by using either the file browser, folder view or "drag and drop" functionality. Processing multiple entries in batch mode is possible. In the file list you can check out the name, duration, initial and target type, along with the status of each video. If you are satisfied with the standard settings, then all you need to do to start the conversion procedure is specify the output directory and profile. Advanced users can configure audio and video properties in regard to the codec, size, bit rate, frame rate, tolerance, sample rate and channel mode. Plus, you can remove the audio stream. Unfortunately, you cannot restore these settings to default but you can create output profiles. Additionally, you can preview clips in a built-in media player and cut them by time or size, as well as change the interface skin and language. Plus, you can configure settings regarding the subtitle offset, luminance filter and buffer location. The media conversion application runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources to finish a task in reasonable time. It is very responsive, contains a help file and is stable. The output videos have a fair image and sound quality. But you cannot specify the thread priority or set post-task actions (e.g. close application, turn off computer).
