355 Monitor Description

355 Monitor sends requests to the site being monitored to check that a Web Address is responding. The results of this request are stored internally in the software and may be saved as a Text File (.txt), a Comma Separated Value File (.csv), a Hypertext Markup Language File (.htm) or an Extensible Markup Language File (.xml). When the monitor receives any response other than OK from the site, it logs the result, but also notifies the user by displaying the error icon in the status bar and optionally sounding an alarm, logging the error to an error file, or sending an Email alert. Results saved as HTML can be formatted using one of the supplied Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) or you can write your own style sheet to change the appearance.
