The way the images scroll across display area or the speed of movement and the direction are decided by the mouse movement. The mouse, when placed over an image, displays a tooltip like text message that can describe the image. This could be a nice vehicle for showing off your products, services or even your holiday shots! There are a lot of settings that you can do to the component and get a image scroller/ticker that suits your needs/inclinations closely. When creating the ticker you could use unlimited number of images. Adding images is simply through the drag & drop feature available to you. The tooltips could be teasers to attract your viewer, tempting him to find out more by clicking on the image that interests him. Most customizations are done through a XML file, which is a nice and simple way of doing it. You can set the images through this file as you set the animation time, colors to be used, ticker scroll speed etc. The images can be resized which is a help as the images you want to use are never in the same size!
