Light-weight Perl utility that monitors the computers performance Collectl is a free and open source performance monitoring tool capable of reporting interactively as well as logging to disk.Collectl reports statistics on cpu, disk, infiniband, lustre, memory, network, nfs, process, quadrics, slabs and more in easy to read format.NOTE: collectl is licensed and distributed under the terms of the Artistic License and GNU General Public License (GPL). Here are some key features of "collectl": Fine Grained, Non-Drifting Monitoring: · If the Time:HiRes perl modules is installed, which you can verify with the command collectl -v, you will be able to run with non-integral sampling intervals.
