Since Adobe AIR supports many more video formats than FLV, it is necessary to filter video content that users submit to applications to make sure it is playable. Video Inspector is a simple utility with source code included to inspect video files. Simply drag any file on to the window (video or otherwise), and the app will tell you what it finds from the MetaData and NetStream objects. Video Inspector supports FLV formats as well as the H.264 video and audio formats. It will tell you if you have uploaded an older format video that it can't play (like an older MOV file for example) or if your FLV is missing or has incomplete meta-data. Requirements: · Adobe AIR
