USB CD Burner Toggle - Switch to your USB burner without booting USB CD Burner Toggle is a AppleScript application designed to allow those who want to have both Toast or Toast Deluxe 4.1.2 and the iTunes 1.1/Disc Burner 1.0.1 CD-burning packages installed on their Macs equipped with supported USB CD burners to switch from one to the other without rebooting.This is made possible because a full Toast installation is completely compatible with iTunes/Disc Burner with the exception of one Disc Burner extension: USB Authoring Support. If this extension is enabled, Toast usually (there are exceptional cases) will not recognize the USB CD burner, but iTunes/Disc Burner will run with no problems. If it is disabled, Toast will recognize the CD burner but Disc Burner will not run (it will display the "Insert blank media to begin" but will not go beyond this step).The script will determine which configuration is active and allow the user to chose to maintain the status quo or to switch to the other configuration. After moving the extension, it will then instruct the user to turn off the CD burner (that is, unplug it or switch it off, depending on the burner) and then turn it on again.Completly freeware.
