Easily create an empty file in any directory using this great Finder plugin. This is a plugin for Finder that will allow you to create a new empty file in any directory by right/ctrl clicking in/on a directory an choosing “Touch New File” from the contextual menu.Install the plugin by extracting it and copying it to “~/Library/Contextual Menu Items/” or “/Library/Contextual Menu Items/” for a system wide install. You may have to create the folder. Restart Finder after copying the plugin into place, and you should be good to go.
