Simple Multitrack Description

Free and open source software for recording and mixing multitrack audio. Simple Multitrack allows the simultaneous recording of an audio track while listening to a monitor mix of other tracks.Currently the file formats used for audio data are mono signed word raw data and stereo signed word raw data. There is nothing special about these file formats. Simple Multitrack could be modified so that it reads other formats such as the Microsoft .wav file format.Simple Multitrack works well and has been tested on Mac OS X and Linux.
