Free and open source encryption tool Salty Files is a free and open source, platform independent encryption tool with a simple user interface (swing/java).Salty Files uses 'Password Based Encryption' (PBE) to encrypt and/or decrypt files on the filesystem. Encrypted files will also be compressed using the zip-format. Requirements: · Java What's New in This Release: · Enhanced security by changing encryption parameters. · Salt is generated using SecureRandom (SHA1PRNG) and increased iteration count by 1000.
