RMagick Description

Interface to the ImageMagick and GraphicsMagick image processing libraries RMagick is a free and open source interface to the ImageMagick and GraphicsMagick image processing libraries. RMagick supports more than 100 image formats, including GIF, JPEG, PNG. Package includes HTML documentation and 185 examples.The OS X Ruby installer script installs the current release of RMagick on OS X 10.4 or 10.5. As part of the process it installs the current release of ImageMagick as well as the delegate libraries that support JPEG, PNG, PDF and WMF images, Postscript (Type1) fonts and TrueType (TTF) fonts, and optionally, TIFF images. This script does not rely on MacPorts, fink, or RubyGems.NOTE: RMagick is licensed and provided under the MIT Licensed. Use of this software is at your own risk. In the unlikely event this script does something to harm your system it is entirely up to you to repair it. This script overwrites existing versions of the libraries it installs, so if you have any software installed that relies on these libraries make sure the software can handle the upgrade. Requirements: · You need a broadband connection to the Internet. · You need at least 30 minutes of free time, possibly more. · You must have already installed the Xcode Tools. · You must have already installed X11. · Ruby installation. What's New in This Release: · Add feature tests for SinusoidFunction and PolynomialFunction enum values to allow compiling with ImageMagick 6.4.8-7 (bug report by Mark Richman)
